Let’s Talk, initially a physical store for mobile phone subscriptions, has evolved into a pioneer in the telecom industry. The driving force behind this evolution? Marcel, our founder, who believed that the process of mobile phone subscriptions could be simplified.
Marcel took matters into his own hands and independently developed software that not only simplified the subscription process but also elevated its sales to new heights. This self-designed software grew to become the backbone of telecom departments in leading retailers such as MediaMarkt Netherlands, MediaMarkt Belgium and Phone House Netherlands.
Every day, our passionate team of developers, primarily specialized in backend development, works on improving the entire fulfillment process surrounding subscription activations. What started as an innovative idea has evolved into an essential tool in the dynamic world of telecom.
Historically, our system was built on the reliable Cake PHP framework. However, in 2023, we took a step towards progress by fully transitioning to Shopware with a Symfony core. This strategic choice was driven by the need for a flexible e-commerce platform that seamlessly integrates with our existing system. Shopware, with its powerful e-commerce capabilities, enables us to automate standard tasks while focusing on custom solutions within the Symfony framework.
Our story is one of continuous improvement, driven by the desire to make the mobile phone subscription process even more efficient and customer-friendly.

Core values can just be words, but it would be more fun if we could translate these words into hero’s or movies that are classics within Let’s Talk. This gives us a better understanding of what these values mean and which of our hero’s embodies these values throughout their Hero-journey.
